Great expectations
Recently musing (and at times commiserating) over our respective expectations upon coming to the great City of New York, Soo and I decided to post a list of our “Top Ten Great Expectations”. While some of what we expected was clear in our consciousness before we even stepped onto this mighty metropolis, our more subtle hopes only became clear to us as they failed to be met. With that said, let’s begin with our great expectations, shall we?
(1) That there would be a lot more single men in the 25-35 age range (forget the hope that they’d be tall, healthy, wealthy, and wise. We’d just settle for an increase in volume at this point!)
